Rosemary & Diogo | NYC Engagement Session | Annapolis Wedding Photographers
Their engagement session was the first time we met them. Rosemary reached out to us about shooting their engagement & wedding & I was immediately excited. She wanted their engagement session in Manhatten, where they live-& OBVIOUSLY Matt & I are always down for a travel adventure so we said yes in a matter of seconds.
April came, we went, we met. They were SO kind, adorable, & the best models. I barely had to give any direction. Diogo was full of life & Rosemary was the best compliment to Diogo, so caring & kind to Diogo's fun & engergy.
Hearing their stories was my favorite part. Diogo is from Portugal & upon talking to Rosemary after a while, found out she would be in Paris. He then flew out to meet her in real life. (Grand romantic gesture straight outta a movie-swoon worthy!) Their sweet relationship took off from there! He then moved to NYC to be with her & got a job!
Engagements are the best so that we can get to know the couples on another level before their wedding. Rosemary & Diogo kept saying how much they loved the "practice" with the posing for the wedding (They totally were experts anyway!). Just feeling more comfortable is so important so you can relax on the day of!
ALSO, they were totally helpful finding our way back to the right subway station so we could get back to our hotel, haha! Such tourists, we are!
LITTLE LIFE UPDATE: We bought a house! So things have been in-sane over here at the Cashman household (literally a household ha!). So things have been running a liiiiitttle slower than normal only because we're still setting things up (still no office yet, but we're working on it!) & we're painting like crazy. Would you want a little photo/blogpost update even though things are still not completely set up? LET US KNOW!
