We were immediately welcomed into the regular wedding day chaos of the “getting ready” part of the day as just part of the clan. Emotions were high, the underlying feeling of excitement was very present, & we started off strong.
Their whole day was a perfect balance of classy & relax-y. Best example: every detail was flawless, yet she was not afraid to take her shoes off & run through a semi muddy field.
Their ceremony was a traditional catholic mass which only added to the sweetness of family & community.
With Molly & Connor being one of the most laid back & chill couples, their portraits & their reception was one of the easy breezy & best times- we were all laughing all the way (ha ha ha) (ah get it- like Jingle Bells?!). Hearing their friends & family share personal stories had Matt, Margaret, & I all in tears.
Their entire reception was a blast-for the father/daughter-mother/son dances, people were clapping & singing along. Her dad even sang a sweet song for his speech, which had us all bawling. & to really get things emotional, Molly & Connor had a special surprise “First Dance” for her parents who never actually got to have a first dance at their own wedding. They made their whole day about their family & we love that.
It only confirmed what we already knew: Molly & Connor are not only loving, but they are SO loved, SO perfect for each other, & it is SO great that we can all be together to watch them get married & party.
